I guess I did sound angry, and resentful and I'm not proud of that. When I look at it from her perspective I sympathize with her. It's just that if she had a boyfriend she definitely would not be as clingy with her father as she is. I've never seen a father and daughter as attached as they are. I was never close to my Dad and my ex-husband was never close to my daughter, so I'm not sure what normal is. As far as what I’m doing, I’d hate to give examples because tbh it’s gotten so out of control that I wouldn’t feel comfortable talking about it. It’s too embarrassing.
