That is true, and it is because there is no way in hell I will allow anyone to ever cause me so much pain and heartache in my life. What I went through was more than enough for a lifetime. I agree I am looking from it from that lens, before when I wasn't I got into a 6 year abusive mentally abusive relationship, that was narcissistic and I was came out of it, disturbed to say the least.
