Sorry to be the one to break this to you but it sounds to me like he is still not over his ex and doesn't want to hurt you. He is probably comparing you to her in his mind and while on the surface all is great, inside he is probably still torn up about the ex. I realize this is probably not what you want to hear but you are best doing one of two things. The way I see it, you really have nothing to loose so you could either call him and try to reason it out with him in a rational way without getting defensive or judgemental or you could just move on and hope he realizes what he is missing out on. Anyway, the reason my post is in this section is because things went down a little differently than they previously have. First off, he lied to me outright. He left the house with no real purpose. I didn't call him until I had the baby put to sleep, a little after 10pm.
